Sign up for TV Guide Magazine.As Marie Schrader, the off-kilter sister-in-law of crictally ill meth-magician Walter Whitened (Bryan Cranston), the skilled character actress has mostly provided support - in each and every feeling of the term - on AMC's nerve-wracking thriller. However with the most recent episode, "Open House," Brandt superbly walked in the spotlight as Marie spun unmanageable, regaling realtors and home-retailers with cockamamie fictions about her existence - and surreptitiously swiping a couple of souvenirs along the way.Marie's bizarrely escapist behavior was understandable, thinking about how harsh her reality is becoming, with partly paralyzed narc husband Hank (Dean Norris) vocally mistreating her for buying Fritos rather than Cheetos.
