USA Network orders Eastin pilot
EastinUSA Network is staying in business with "White Collar" creator Jeff Eastin.Cabler has ordered Eastin's untitled hourlong drama pilot. Script focuses on federal and local law enforcement agents who live together at an undercover house in Southern California.Project is from Fox Television Studios, which is also the home of "White Collar."After successfully launching "Necessary Roughness" and "Suits" over the summer, USA is looking to expand its scripted programming slate, as well as moving into reality.Recent pilots greenlit by the net include dramas "Over/Under" and "Wild Card," the latter starring Jennifer Finnigan about a pair of lawyers who help those in Las Vegas get out of legal jams. "Over/Under" stars "Rescue Me" thesp Steven Pasqaule as a day trader who becomes a bookie.On the comedy side, Nathan Lane is set to star in a pilot about an actor who must move back to his Texas hometown.
